Ty Fincher brings over a decade of elite U.S. Army Special Operations experience and proven private investigation expertise to Turnstone Intelligence. His military tenure, marked by three Bronze Star Medals, included covert influence, counterterrorism, and multinational operations, and ranged from leading tactical teams in combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan to briefing and advising strategic commanders like GEN David Petraeus.

 

Transitioning to civilian life, Ty earned his private investigator license and founded a successful investigative agency. His innovative approach, blending advanced targeting protocols with conventional private sector skip tracing, has led to unmatched success in locating hard-to-find individuals and recovering stolen property, including vehicles linked to organized theft rings. Later, he collaborated with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in intellectual property theft investigations. Working as a contracted field agent from 2018 until 2024, he located and surveilled claimants in over 200 Defense Base Act workers' compensation cases, including over 50 in foreign countries like Kosovo, Germany, Thailand, and Australia.

 

Ty's specialized training includes PSYOP, Military Deception, Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), Counterintelligence, Small Unit Tactics, Network/Cyber Defense and Information Assurance, equipping him to excel in locating individuals, solo and team-based covert surveillance, and safeguarding legally protected information.
